Enzai, a Belfast-based AI governance software startup, raised $4 million in Seed funding to build out its engineering capabilities and support its go-to-market efforts. The round was led by Cavalry Ventures, with participation from Seedcamp, Techstart Ventures, Paul Forster, Jonathan Kewley, Sam Gill, and Alexandre Berriche.
Founded in 2021 by Ryan Donnelly and Jack Carlisle, Enzai offers an AI governance software platform that helps organizations understand and manage the risks associated with AI, while meeting their regulatory obligations. The platform allows organizations to build up an inventory of their AI systems, apply policies and procedures to them, and measure compliance in real time. Enzai is also announcing a new feature on its platform called "Controls", which allows cross-functional teams to collaborate and conduct assessments of AI systems. This feature is unique in the AI governance space and will allow organizations to get a more comprehensive view of their AI risks.
