SaaSGrid, a San Francisco and New York City-based company that provides a data and analysis platform for SaaS metrics, has raised $3.3 million in seed funding. The round was led by Craft Ventures, with participation from angel investors. The funds will be used to further develop the product, including adding new features such as pipeline metrics and benchmarking. SaaSGrid will also use the funding to expand its team and marketing efforts.
SaaSGrid provides a dashboarding tool that allows SaaS companies to connect their data sources and get real-time insights into their business performance. The company has identified and standardized the calculations for more than 70 essential SaaS metrics, including MRR, ARR, Net Dollar Retention, CAC Payback, Burn Multiple, and Runway.
SaaSGrid was founded by Ethan Ruby, who developed the early prototype of the product to help the investment team at Craft Ventures run metrics for prospective investments. Once founders saw these dashboards, they wanted access to the tool, not just to help with fundraising but for their internal KPI dashboards.
