Osano, a data privacy management software platform, raised $25m in Series B funding to expand its team and product offerings.
The round was led by Baird Capital, with participation from Jump Capital, LiveOak, NextCoast and TDF. Mark Donnelly, Partner at Baird Capital, will be joining the Board and Katharine Tomko, Partner at First Ascent Ventures and former Facebook Head of Privacy Programs, will be joining as a Board Observer.
Osano, led by Arlo Gilbert, co-founder and CEO, helps organizations build, manage, and scale their privacy program to increase trust, stay compliant, and do the right thing. The company's platform provides consent management, data subject rights requests, privacy assessments, and vendor monitoring all in one place.
In recent months, Osano has launched a new Data Mapping product and enhanced its overall platform with a new feature, Vendor Discovery. The company plans to use the new funding to further expand its team and product offerings, with a focus on helping organizations comply with the latest data privacy regulations.
