Aperio, a Boston-based operational data quality company, raised $9M in Series A1 funding led by Momenta. The company will use the funds to grow its team, invest in its product, and improve the customer experience. The round was led by Momenta, with participation from Chevron Technology Ventures, NextEra Energy, National Grid Partners, Delek US, and Bazan Group.
Aperio's software platform detects and fixes poor data quality at scale. It helps industry leaders improve operational performance, mitigate risks, and enable data-driven decision-making. The platform takes operational customer data and evaluates its quality using proprietary machine learning engines.
The new funding follows the release of APERIO DataWise 2.0 earlier this year. DataWise 2.0 added advanced tools like comprehensive root cause analysis and event pattern recognition. It was also designed to improve the user experience through intuitive workflows and issue prioritization.
