Calgary Fintech Finoto Raises $1M+ Pre-Seed

Finofo, a Calgary, Canada, fintech, raised CAD $1.6M in pre-seed funding.

The round was led by Motivate Venture with participation from SaaS Venture Capital, Sweet Spot Capital, Desjardins Financial Holding, and contributions from friends and family.

The company will use the funds to expand operations and development efforts. Finofo provides a financial platform for businesses to bank internationally, convert currencies, and automate accounts payables. It was co-founded by Charles Maranda and Prateek Sodhi.
