Content Marketplace AI Start-up Raises $8.8m Series A

Catch+Release, a content licensing marketplace for brands and creators, has raised an additional $8.8 million in Series A funding. The round was led by return investor Accel, with participation from Cervin, Astia Fund, Stagwell, HarbourVest Partners, Nick Mehta, Rich Kleiman, and Kevin Durant's 35V.

The company, which has now raised a total of $31.3 million in funding, plans to use the capital to accelerate its product development, improve the user experience, and grow its creator community.

Led by CEO and Founder Analisa Goodin, Catch+Release is a platform that allows brands to find and license content from creators. The company's platform has been used by leading brands such as Meta, Amazon, Uber, Disney, Nike, and ESPN.
