Hungri Games, Istanbul, Turkey and Belfast, Northern Ireland, UK-based mobile gaming studio raised $1.9 million in seed funding at a valuation of $23 million. The round was led by Bogazici Ventures, with participation from Sebastien Borget, Roko Finance, Preston Labs, Triple Dragon, Erol Ozmandiraci, Oyunfor, and Caglan Tanriverdi.
Founded in 2019 by Kagan Berk Kocak, Hungri Games has over 30 team members and specializes in Web3 gaming. The studio is known for its hybrid genres, such as racing RPGs and action strategy games.
Hungri Games plans to use the funding to expand its portfolio and development on multiple titles, including the highly anticipated racing RPG Metahorse Unity. Metahorse Unity combines horse racing with deep RPG elements and introduces a free-to-play business model.
