Qashier, a Singapore-based fintech startup that provides POS and payment solutions to businesses of all sizes in Southeast Asia, has raised US$10M in Series A funding. The round was led by Delivery Hero Ventures and IFP Securities, with participation from Antler Elevate and Cocoon Capital.
The company will use the funds to accelerate its growth in its four Southeast Asia focus markets, expand into new international markets, and strengthen its product ecosystem. Qashier was founded in 2019 by Christopher Choo and Franklin Zhao Liang. The company has processed over US$1 billion worth of transactions and empowered over 6,000 businesses across Southeast Asia.
