The round was led by Lux Capital, with participation from Founders Fund, Operator Partners, Allen & Company, Dr. Fred Moll, and former U.S. Senator Bob Kerrey.

Mendaera's system has completed research and design, and the company is now focused on completing development and obtaining FDA clearance.
