Point.me, a New York-based travel discovery tool and points concierge service, recently raised $10 million in Series A funding. The round was led by Thayer Ventures, with participation from PAR Capital Ventures, RiverPark Ventures, Plug and Play Ventures, MoreThanCapital, Gaingels, David Baggett and Carl de Marcken.
The company will use the funds to accelerate growth of its enterprise partnerships, expand its concierge service, and scale its consumer subscription business. Point.me helps loyalty program members find flights for points. Its proprietary algorithm searches over 150 airlines to find the best deals, including first and business class travel. The company works with over 30 loyalty programs, including credit card rewards, and allows customers to filter search results based on their preferred programs, airlines, routes, and balances.
