Travel-tech Raises $3M

Caravelo, a Barcelona, Spain-based travel-tech company that provides subscription solutions to the travel industry, has raised €3.5 million in Series A funding. The round was led by Samaipata with participation from Adara Ventures and other existing investors. Founded in 2015 by Iñaki Uriz and José Luis Vilar, Caravelo creates and manages flight subscription programs for airlines. These programs help airlines increase revenue and market share, improve crisis resilience, reduce the impact of seasonality, and create a better customer experience. Caravelo's platform is a SaaS solution that has been used by more than 20 airlines, including Volaris, Alaska Airlines, and Wizz Air.

The company will use the funds from the Series A round to expand its team and develop its platform. Caravelo plans to hire more engineers, data scientists, and marketing professionals to support its growth. The company also plans to invest in the development of new features for its platform, such as the ability to offer subscription programs for hotels and other travel products. Caravelo is well-positioned to capitalize on the growing demand for subscription-based travel products. The company has a strong track record of success and a proven platform. With the additional funding from the Series A round, Caravelo is poised to become a leading provider of subscription solutions to the travel industry.
